An Experience for Two
This special edition of A Journey to the Land of Laphroaig is designed as a shared journey—one that brings together whisky, travel, and conversation in a relaxed, intimate setting.
Rather than a traditional tasting, the evening explores Scotland and Islay as destinations, using whisky as the narrative thread. Guests will journey through flavours that mirror place and progression—beginning with The Ardmore Legacy, moving through Bowmore 12 and Laphroaig Select, and culminating in the unmistakable character of Laphroaig 10.
The experience is complemented by visual storytelling, travel insights, and a curated flip book that allows guests to both note their impressions and discover what it takes to plan a journey to Scotland and Islay—from flights and seasons to places to stay and drink.
Given the Valentine’s setting, this edition is especially suited for couples who enjoy travelling, discovering new places, and sharing experiences together. To encourage this, we are extending a discount for couples attending together, making it an evening best enjoyed side by side.

SMAC India is a private membership-based community and does not trade, sell, or distribute alcoholic beverages. Products showcased at the event are purely for sensory appreciation and education.
Participation is limited to members or invited guests above the legal drinking age applicable in the state of the event. Government-issued ID may be requested.
Seats are allotted on a first-come basis. SMAC India reserves the right of admission and may decline participation at its discretion; if declined after payment, a full refund will be issued.
By registering, participants acknowledge voluntary consumption, agree to drink responsibly, and accept responsibility for their health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities. SMAC encourages safe travel post-event and does not assume liability for medical or travel issues.
Tasting line-ups, number of samples, format, or sequence may change without prior notice due to availability, compliance, or logistics.
Payments once made are non-refundable. At SMAC’s discretion, the fee may be adjusted against future events or merchandise. Transfers to another eligible participant may be allowed on request, subject to approval.
If the event is cancelled or rescheduled due to government regulations, venue restrictions, illness-based limitations (with proof), or other force-majeure circumstances, SMAC may refund the amount paid or adjust it towards a future date as preferred by the member.
SMAC reserves the right to deny/withdraw access for inappropriate behaviour, breach of law, venue policy violation, or disorderly conduct. No refunds will apply in such cases.
Events may be photographed or recorded for promotional or archival use. Attendance implies consent unless opted-out in writing prior to the event.
Member information collected during registration is handled securely and may only be shared for compliance, access, or legal requirements.
All participation is subject to applicable excise regulations, hospitality policies, and state-specific legal drinking rules.
