With 2500 odd members spread across the country SMAC decided to host an event in Pune at the prestigious PYC Gymkhana. Guru & Nikhil (staunch followers of the club & ardent whisky fans) were instrumental in pulling this together and pushing us to make this event is a memorable one!

SMAC presented to the members of pune an exclusive & unique whisky tasting experience
As the founder of the club Hemanth Rao
curated an immersive tasting experience of this award-winning single malt whisky from India. A session dedicated to Mr. Neelkanth Rao Jagdale who passed away on May 9th 2019. A true visionary who had the foresight to create such amazing world-class whiskies.
The line up for the evening was
1. Amrut Fusion- The award-winning whisky from the distillery that put Amrut on the whisky map of the world
2. Amrut Peated – Another whisky which has one many accolade, straight clean peat matured in bourbon casks
3. Amrut Portonova- A flip of how unpeated whisky expresses itself in port pipes an apt offset for the Port pipe peated
4. Amrut Port Pipe Peated – A limited-edition expression for the first spirits festival in India (the Vault Biennale) An expression showcasing the magic of peat in port pipes
5. Amrut Amaze SMAC Exclusive Release 1 Bottle No: 10 – The surprise package
