Well this is a big coup by the folks at Amrut and we are glad to let all the members benefit from it! Yes, Amrut ‘Naarangi’ will be released along with the Amrut Triparva in India; Bangalore only.
Limited to 300 bottles getting this one is going to be a fight!
Bottled at 50% Naarangi is one the most innovative releases from Amrut. The whisky was aged in an ex-oloroso-sherry cask, which was then seasoned with wine and orange peel for three years. A three-year-old whisky was then finished in the cask for a further three years, which has resulted in an expression with bright, expressive orange notes shining through.
